PROBLEM

I am going to develop my research proposal in the municipality of Chia in Cundinamarca.

The second grade classroom has a total of 6 students, three of them have a specific diagnosis of
special learning needs (spectrum disorder (ASD), Down syndrome and Asperger syndrome). The
classes taught must meet the requirements established in the work methodology of the institution,
which consists in the development of citizen competencies, preparing them for the real world
through experimentation and real-world examples.

The situation of my classroom is the teaching of English in a school that has a work methodology
that is not modifiable to students who have learning difficulties, for this reason I am going to make
a reflection about how is the process of teaching English while implementing the development of
citizen competences in an inclusive context in second grade in San Juan del Camino School. I will
develop an action research.

The instruments for data collection are:

Artifacts: It is an instrument that allows the collection of information on what the participants do
and are the ones that provide the teacher with an input to determine if the implementation or
assigned work is contributing to the research objective.

Journals: It is an instrument that allows the writing of teaching practice, in the journals every
important aspect that occurs in the classroom is recorded and that will contribute to the
development of research.

Structured observation: It is an instrument that allows an analysis of each component and class
factor, it is an instrument that allows the collection of real data and must be done during several
sessions in order to show progress or partiality.
INSTRUMENT 1: ARTIFACTS

The artifacts are the productions and activities that the students carry out within the research
process, it is difficult to make an activity design without having the pedagogical proposal,
however the artifacts that I am going to take into account are:

 Evidence of knowledge through the work guides.

 Written productions of children.
 Recordings of oral activities and conversations.

The following format will allow me to do the artifact evaluation:
