INTRODUCTION
The Cons
Well, that was positive side, but every story has two
telling. Of all the virtue, our education system has
developed into more schooling now. New trends are
being developed which are far more a baloney that
boon.
Albert Einstein once said “Education is that
remains, if one has forgotten everything one learned in
school.”
Policy
Education policy is prepared by Centre
Government and State Government at national and
state levels respectively. The National Policy of
Education (NPE), 1986, has provided for environment
awareness, science and technology education, and
introduction of traditional elements such as Yoga in
secondary school system. A significant feature of
Indian’s secondary school system is the emphasis on
inclusion of disadvantages sections of the society.
Professionals from established institutes are often
called to support on vocational training. Another
feature of Indian’s secondary school system is it’s
emphasis on profession based vocational training to
help students attain skils for finding a vocation of
his/her choosing. A significant new feature has been
to extension of SSA to secondary education in the
form of Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan.
