declaring as National Children’s Month all Regional and
Schools Division Offices and Schools are encouraged
to undertake child-related activities during the
celebration of National Children’s Month.

II. Rationale

In consonance with the above proclamation, this office, through a Division


Memorandum #620 s.2019 dated September 18,2019 prompted the district to conduct a
School-Based Kindergarten Day Celebration which will be celebrated on the month of
November 2019 ( National Children’s Month Celebration). This activity aims to showcase the
talents, skills and discover their concealed potentials in the contest categories listed in the
memorandum. This is also be an avenue for school administrators and teachers to realize
their important roles in the development of talent and skills among our learners in the
kindergarten level in the district.

At the end of the one-day activity, it is expected that the following will be achieved:

Objectives

1. Showcase the talents and skills of kindergarten learners;


2. Strengthen their confidence and self-esteem;
3. Recognize schools that have excellent programs/initiatives for
kindergarten.
4. Create friendly competitive atmosphere.
Expected Final Outcome/Success Indicator:
1. All kindergarten learners in every school will be able to showcase their
talents, skills, and strengthen their confidence and self-esteem as depicted
in the different contest categories with 100% involvement.
2. All schools will be able to recognize the excellent programs/initiatives for
kindergarten.
3. All participants will be able to create friendly competitive atmosphere.
