digital recorder is the preferred option for easy storage, easy recall, and
easy viewing over different monitors.(Black, 2005)

The purpose of this study is to know the perspectives of the vendors towards
installed cctv in the public market. Their suggestion and points towards of the
cctv, the advantages of the cctv and the help of it. Research shown that it is
lack of cctv in the inside of the public market to make it secure. The cctv play
important role in the public market for the security. The function of the
CCTV in the public market, the recording of the crime scene.

In the public market of Valencia City, it is one of the crowded place in

Valencia City need to secure the security the people and even the vendors in
it. The help of the CCTV is great for the vendors of the market they are more
confident to sale their product to their valid costumers with no worries.

Cameras can be either situated within the middle of a room or in the corners.
Although their placements affects the images and security angle each camera
can pick up, the sheer presence of cameras can act as a deterrent to any
criminal. Knowing their actions is likely to be detected by one from a
multitude of cameras which can clearly depict their face and appearance can
decrease the rate of theft and crime.(da Cruz, 2015)
CCTV cameras can serve as a very good discouragement for robbers and
burglars, making them at least think twice. These days, the technology behind
security equipment is incredibly advanced, and even watching the footage
can hook the cameras up to a normal TV or computer.

This study aims to determine about the perceptions of the vendors towards
the installed CCTV’s in Public Market,Valencia City

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1.) what is the perception of the vendors towards the installed CCTV’s ?

2.)Are the CCTV’s installed in the public market helpful in recording the
crime scene?

3.)Are these CCTV’s installed in the public market always functioning?

Significance of the study

This study was undertaken to determine the perceptions of the vendors
towards the installed CCTV’s in the Public Market, Valencia City. The future
researcher can take the benefits of this study.

The respondents are the vendors in the Public Market. Furthermore, the study
only focuses in the Valencia City,Public Market and conducted it there.
