One of the most interesting places to visit is
the Bird Park. It is located in the industrial area in
Singapore, called Jurong. The Bird Park is about
twelve kilometres from the centre of the city, and
it’s easy to get there by bus or by taxi.
It is one of the largest bird parks in the world.
The birds are kept in large cages, and there are
hundreds of beautiful birds from many different
parts of the world, including penguins, parrots,
eagles, and ostriches. There is a large lake in the
park with a restaurant beside it. There is also a
very large cage which you can walk in to get closer
look at the birds.
It takes about two hours to see all the birds.
You can walk around the park or ride on a bus. The
best time to visit the park is in the early morning or

The following text is for number 24-27
My friends and I camped in the mountain last
weekend. It was very beautiful and quiet there. The
air was fresh. The location of our camp site was on
the top of the hill, so we could enjoy the scenery
around us. It was green everywhere. It was also
easy to get water as it was near a small river.. You
see the water is as clear as a crystal. We brought a
lot of food from home. There were some noodles,
cans of sardines, soft drink, and biscuits. I also
brought cooking utensils for cooking.
On the first day, we spent our time setting up
tent and exploring the surrounding area. I was
happy to find that there were many campers there.
At night, after we had dinner, we met other
campers. We chatted and played guitar. It was fun
meeting people who had the same hobby. It was
not frightening at all at night in the forest as it was
very noisy that night. We laughed and sang, and
some campers even danced. We went to bed
almost dawn. No wonder we got up late the
following day. We hiked with other campers until
afternoon. We did not realize that it was almost 5
in the afternoon and we had to go back home soon.
It was really nice. I planned to go there again on
the next long holiday. I would ask other friend to

Once upon a time there was a queen of Arabia
named Maura. Maura is the most beautiful lady
who had many suitors. One by one she discarded
them, until her list was reduced to just three sheiks.
The three sheiks were all equally young and
handsome. They were also rich and strong. The
queen was hard to decide who would be the only
one being the best.
One evening, Maura disguised herself and
went to the camp of the three sheiks. As they were
about to have dinner, Maura asked them for
something to eat. The first gave her some left-over
food. The second sheik gave her some unappetizing

A storm is a disturbance of the ordinary

There are 80 different types of chameleons in
the world, most of which are to be found in Africa,
south of the Sahara Desert. The common
chameleon ranges from the Middle East, along the
North African coast, as far as southern Spain.
The chameleon is a slow-moving lizard which
hunts for insects among trees and undergrowth.
One of its peculiar features is its eyes, which are
set in two conical sockets and can move
independently of one another. This enables the
chameleon to look behind with one eye and in
front with the other.

change colour to match the surroundings. Among

It was early in the morning we left Ubud and
travelled to Gili Air which is one of three islands
of Lombok. It took four hours in total by boat. It
was a hot day but travelling was not bad.
When we got to Gili Air it was still quiet so
