Overview of Advanced Communications Ltd (ADN).

Advanced Communications Ltd. (ADN) is a young enterprise of Vietnam, established and growing for
more than 8 years in the field of communication, advertising idea design and media.

On the ground of a professional, creative, enthusiastic and project-experienced staffs, we feel that we
have enough zeal and skills to make a contribution and offer strategic consults in the field of
Communications for projects by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which benefit the community
in the field of HIV/AIDS, clean water, environment ( especially climate change) , avian influenza
(H5N1), swine flu (H1N1), microfinance, domestic and school violence, children trafficking, and
tobacco.

It is our mission statement to listen and understand customers’ demand, turn ideas into services and
products, bring maximum satisfaction with products delivered. As a result, we created Communications
tools which are eye-catching, impressive and beneficial for the training process of Communications
staffs, propaganda process for the target market and mass communications.

1. Advertising, Communications Designing and Producing:


* Tasks:
- Designing logo, brainstorming slogans of projects and campaigns for domestic and foreign enterprises,
non-governmental organizations.
- Graphic design for Advertising and Communication tools: posters, leaflets, brochures, training books
and yearbooks.
- Standard images and corporate identity
- Brainstorming exciting games helping training staffs easily communicate their ideas to the target
groups.
- Creative photographing and program illustration ideas to create impression for advertising products.
- Creative picture drawings according to projects’ theme.
- Giving consults about material and size of the products; product specifications in strict accordance
with standards, compactable communications tools that can be carried easily and conveniently during
the training process.
* Experience
ADN has many years of experiences in the field of designing and printing, making products of highest
quality. We give the best consults about products’ materials. Furthermore, our professional staffs always
double-check products’ quality before delivering to customers. Our customers are: Hanoi- France
Hospital (HFH), Nikko Hanoi Hotel, Dong Hiep Company, Population Service International (PSI),
International Labor Organization (ILO), Save the children, Oxfam.....

Population Service International (PSI): ADN takes part in designing process, creating ideas, and
producing promotional tools for some projects on HIV/AIDS and propaganda to target groups such as
male and female prostitutes, pregnant women, drug users, the addicted and etc.

International Labor Organization (ILO): ADN takes part in creating promotional tools for projects on
“Safety at work in quarrying stone zones”.
- Researching, making field trip to understand more about target groups and proposing consults for
projects.
- Proposing consults about products suited to target groups and the projects such as: poster, billboard,
leaflets, training books and games......
- Pre – test communications products on target groups.

2. Organizing and producing communications event programs:
* Our task:
- Holding event
- Coordinating to draw up proposal and budgets
- Field-trip to learn about target groups
- Detailed programming
- Consults on project venues.
- Invited guests listing
- Producing event documents.
- Producing program gifts
- Photographing, filming events.
- Program script writing.
- Working with local officials in hiring venue, asking for authorization.
- Setting up propaganda plays
- Inviting local officials and target groups relating the projects.

ADN has organized many workshops and conferences to sum up project processes, announcing ideas for
new programs as well as social marketing, big events to introduce activities, project training courses.
Customers of ADN are: International Labor Organization (ILO) , World Bank, KFC, Microsoft,
Population Service International(PSI), Cisco Systems.....

International Labor Organization (ILO): ADN has carried out social Marketing programs on the subject
of Safety at work in the Quarrying Stone zones in Thanh Hoa Province. The name of the project is:
“Poverty Reduction through integral support for small and medium enterprises development (PRISED)”
under the management of ILO and VCCI.

World Bank: World Bank’s events are annually held . Each event is about different topic such as the
disabled and handicapped children, Safe Traffic, Environment, Administrative reforms. ADN has
opportunities to cooperate with World Bank during 2 years of 2005, 2006

KFC: Organize opening ceremony for new business venue at Big C Thang Long
Cisco System: Organize customer conference and scholarship granting ceremony for students.
Population Service International(PSI): Organize events to encourage people voluntarily take part in
HIV/AIDS testing at testing centers established by PSI all over the country (Name of the event is:
“National VCT month Events”)
- Behavior Changing Communication, raising awareness of prostitutes about using condoms when
having sexual intercourse with customers. (Program’s name is “Know when to play, when to stop”)
3. Media Channel Booking:
* Tasks
- Manage the media buying at televison channels , radio stations, newspaper and press agency in
all over 63 provinces of the country, loudspeaker stations at the level of districts and communes.
- Set up broadcasting programs on different channels.
- Work with those in charge of press agency of channels
- * Experiences
AED: ADN has purchased the channel for the propaganda projects to prevent Avian influenza H5N1 in
8 provinces and 160 communes all over the country.

4. Organize televison channel production
Tasks
- Brainstorming program’s ideas, writing scripts and registering television copyrights.
- Coordinating with organizations giving professional support to build up the content for the
program.
- Analyzing target’s customers
- Inviting sponsorship
- Coordinating with television channels to buy “golden” broadcasting time, negotiating with
televison channels to ensure the rights of sponsors.
- Organizing the recruitment of participants for televison programs.
- Coordinating with televison producing staffs.
- Coordinating with information protectorate units, carrying out PR events for the programs, press
conference to introduce programs.

Experiences
ADN has produced reality television show: “12 ngày toả sáng” (12 Sparkling Days) for
adolescents of the age from 10 to 15. As a matter of fact, there is a lack of educational television
programs for adolecents. Moreover, the markets of game show for small children are already
saturated. “12 ngày toả sáng” (12 Sparkling Days) fills this gap in the entertainment market and
helps adolecents gain essential “soft skills” for themselves . “12 ngày toả sáng” (12 Sparkling
Days) is not only an educational program but also brings a multifaceted insight into the joy,
confidence and complexity of secondary school students in the process of forming personality. In the
procedures to carry out “12 ngày toả sáng” (12 Sparkling Days) , ADN cooperated with Vietnam
National Television Channel, Hanoi Television Channel, Children Protection and Caring, Ministry
of Labor Invalids and Social Affairs, Greater Mekong World Wildlife Funds ( WWF)...

At the moment, we are in the process of completing the program.

5. ADN development orientation


- Training experts on social problems to propose beneficial advice for non-governmental organizations
- Training research groups, proposing statistics about target groups in need of help from non-
governmental organizations
- ADN specializes in producing programs bearing the nature of education and socialization
- Agents of large television channels ,global advertising companies and press agency of 63 provinces all
over the country.
- Coordinate with non-governmental organizations researching and proposing consults for
communication projects and social events.
ADN wishes to cooperate with organizations and look forward to receiving Term of references (TORs)
and the invitation letter proposing media campaigns about Behavior Change Communication (BCC) and
Information Education Communication (IEC).
