Reflection Paper of The Glory

The Greater Glory reminds me of a quote by an anonymous person that says "If you
succeed without suffering , someone suffered for it and if you want to succeed you need to
suffer ." The quote summarizes it all , though it wholly emphasizes the faith of Jose Luis
Sanchez del Rio and the Cristeros in God but it also reflects to what Jesus Christ has done for us .
The movie also revealed the real meaning of " The Greater Glory" which is the real essence of
the movie .

The Greater Glory was a great masterpiece . At first I thought it was just an ordinary
movie of faith but as it went on to the deeper message of the movie , It stabbed my heart a
multiple times . My tears were flowing non-stop. It made me realized a lot of things like why
should one suffer for ones faith . Somehow I hated myself for questionning God if He truly
loved us , why did He let them suffer that much to the point of dying . Then an image of Jesus
Christ flashed into my mind and dawned me with a realization that indeed God loved us so
much . It was said in His scripture in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his one
and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." He let His
beloved Son suffered for us all. I still remember the time when Jesus Christ was filled with too
much and asked God the Father , “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” but He let
the will of God be done unto Him .Even if Jesus Christ is the most precious Son of God , He
suffered not because of nothing but because the love of God is unconditional and
immeasurable that He is willing to gave up His Son for us to be forgiven . I came to realized
while watching the movie that every suffering has a purpose that through the suffering and
sacrifices they've done , they've been succesful in giving us the freedom that they aim for us to
have .What hurts me more is that while the people from the past suffered a lot including Jose
Luis del Rio and the Cristeros for the freedom of faith in God , a lot of people in this generation
has taking it for granted and even forgot the importance of faith in each of our lives .

The Greater Glory is not just an ordinary movie but a movie that will increase your faith
in God. An extraordinary masterpiece .What makes the movie extraordinary was the messages
it taught us and the real meaning of Greater Glory . May we not waste and took for granted
what others have done for us especially what Jesus Christ has done for us . May we live our life
in accordance to the will of God and seek for His wisdom through His words. May we continue
to believe and trust God at every circumstances of our life because the pain and suffering that
we experienced are nothing compared to Jesus Christ's and the Greater Glory is His .
