Time Management of Grade 12 Electrical Installation and Maintenance

Students at Biñan City Senior High School – San Antonio Campus A.Y. 2019 –

2020.

Introduction

Time management is very important and it may actually affect individual's overall

performance and achievements. However, all of these are related by how individuals

manage their time to suit their daily living or to make their routines. Some of the students

do not have a good time management skills that has negatively affect their life and their

academics. It can also affect stress level of students as they need to cope with their tasks

and their personal achievements. Time management have a vital role in improving

academic performance and achievements of student.

Students of Electrical Installation and Maintenance have their time management

because of some factors like time for their family, time for their job especially in work

immersion, time for their studies, and etc. this study aims to know how students of

electrical installation and maintenance managed their time and how they overcome it.

Statement of the Problem

The researchers will aim to investigate time management of Electrical Installation

and Maintenance students.

Specifically, the researchers will seek to answer the following questions:

1. How students of Electrical Installation and Maintenance manage their time?

2. What are the struggles in overcoming time management?

3. How students manage their time due to immersion?

Scope and Limitation

The study will cover the time management of Electrical Installation and

Maintenance students. It will focus on the lived experiences such as struggles and

problems when they manage their time.

The researchers choose only Electrical Installation and Maintenance students and

will not include students from other specialization.

The researchers will conduct at Biñan City Senior High School – San Antonio

Campus A.Y. 2019 – 2020.

Significance of the Study

The beneficiaries of the study will be the students because the study will be

designed to identify the struggles and problems in managing their stress due to paper

works and work immersion.

The Department of Education (DepEd) and Non – Government Organizations

(NGO’s) were likewise benefited by the study in the sense that its findings will help them

identify the needs of the students and served a program for them.

For the teachers and advisers, the findings of the study will help them to provide

a better lesson and activity for their students and have a better communication with their

students regarding to personal problems.

For the parents who can relate with the students, it will help them to give support

and guidance from them.

For the future researchers, the findings of the study will give them information and

reference.
