Microwave communication system is incorporated through the usage of radio waves within the
microwave frequency regarding the transmission of the audio, video and data within two
locations. The distance of the locations could range from a few meters to several kilometers. The
properties of microwave communication used in the paradigm of mobile phones and WIFI are
different. The major aim of this study is to outline the prospect of microwave communication
elaborated in two eminent journals along with its superiority, advantages and disadvantages.
Comparison of results:
The two research papers discussed in this study deals with microwave communication system
and the development of microwave power transfer. The two research papers portray two different
perspectives in the field of microwave wireless communication. Wireless power transmission
offers a wide arena of process where long distance electric power transmission is enabled.
The first research paper reflects on the transmission capacity of the microwave oven. It is a
frequently applicable and feasible appliance that is incapable of transmitting data but it is able to
radiate signals in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz Industrial, scientific and medical ISM band. Therefore,
it is regarded as an unintentional interferer that operates for the IEEE 802.11 wireless
communication signal (Taher, Misurac, LoCicero & Ucci, 2008). On the other hand the
second research paper explores the advances in the field of microwave power transfer that has
made it feasible and convenient to enhance and support wireless power transmission over wider
regions. In the field of advancements the development of remarkable innovations in the wireless
communication has provided an outcome of MIMO small cells and millimeter-wave
communication signals. With the innovative development of these advanced wireless
technologies there have been massive improvements in developing a proper platform to ensure
that wireless networks can suit aptly in implementing microwave power transfer (Kaibin Huang
and Xiangyun Zhou, 2019).
The discussions obtained from studying the two research papers would help to establish that the
second research paper is more firm, stable and competent in the field of microwave
communication systems. This is because it highlights on the wide range of services that the
advancements in microwave power transfer can provide. In addition, the logical assimilation
between the microwave power transfer and the wireless communication offers a broad new field
that is called the wirelessly powered communications. With the help of this WPC several new
arenas of research areas can evolve, which would include exploration of technological securities,
simultaneous data and power transmission, to name a few.
Conclusion:
Thus, to conclude, it can be said that the current study aimed at explaining the significance of
microwave communication system. It aimed at demonstrating the microwave communication
system and its implementation through the utilization of radio waves within a stipulated
frequency relating to transfer of signals between two locations. In order to demonstrate this
concept, this study took help of two noted journals. These journals presented an idea about the
prospect of microwave communication along with certain advancements involved in this field.
The study also provided with a contrast between the themes presented in these two journals. In
addition, it has also presented advantages, disadvantages and superiority of the subject matter
presented in these journals. Finally, recommendations for future improvements have also been
provided in this study.
