Topic introduction:

Microwave communication system is incorporated through the usage of radio waves within the
microwave frequency regarding the transmission of the audio, video and data within two
locations. The distance of the locations could range from a few meters to several kilometers. The
properties of microwave communication used in the paradigm of mobile phones and WIFI are
different. The major aim of this study is to outline the prospect of microwave communication
elaborated in two eminent journals along with its superiority, advantages and disadvantages.

Introduction of two research papers:

The first research paper encompasses on the parameter of availability of microwave
communication within the microwave oven, in which the transmission of data does not take
place. However the radiation of signal to the unlicensed format is occurred in this appliance with
the radiation range of 2.5 GHz industrial. Microwave is considered as the unintentional interferer
within the WIFI signal for IEEE 802.11. Thus this paper indulges to the discussion of
development of MWO signal (Taher, Misurac, LoCicero & Ucci, 2008). The modeling of
MWO in the cognitive of this paper is discussed through the intervention of mitigation technique
which is further implemented in the combined mechanism of radio mechanism and WIFI
devices. Thu the reliability of the operation in microwave appliance is conferred through the
convergence of residential radio MWO.
The second paper reflects to the transmission of microwave signals over long distances for over a
decade. The revolutionary aspect in the paradigm of wireless format had been through MIMO
and smart cells. The implicative of these two entities had enabled to the suitability of wireless
platform in the implementation of MPT (Kaibin Huang and Xiangyun Zhou, 2019). Thus the
challenge of last wire regarding the charging of mobile devices had been eradicated along with
the long term proposition of ICT incorporation in mobile charging. Thus the streamlined
integration of MPT and wireless communication had been facilitative to the establishment of
new era of “wireless powered communication”.
Methodology description:
The first research paper configures to the method of applicability of MWO signal in the surface
of microwave communication. Intervention of specific mitigation technique had been applied in
order to highlight the transmission of waves through the combination of radio mechanisms
within wifi devices. The procedure of the reflection of microwave communication had been
experimental in which the signals are carried through WIFI forum during the existence of MWO
emissions,
The second research paper is inclined to the advancement of MPT, which had been effective in
the transmission of power over a significantly long distance. The4 power of microwave
communication had been devised through the concept of mobile charging which had provided
the establishment of WPC situation. WPC is the transfer of power through the network
architects, where information are are safe and secured. Thus the methodology of the new article
dwells to the concept of ICT incorporation in WPC which furnishes to the efficiency of
microwave communication. Thus the techniques used for microwave communication in this case
are beam forming of power, power transfer channel and mobile structuring.

Comparison of results:
The two research papers discussed in this study deals with microwave communication system
and the development of microwave power transfer. The two research papers portray two different
perspectives in the field of microwave wireless communication. Wireless power transmission
offers a wide arena of process where long distance electric power transmission is enabled.
The first research paper reflects on the transmission capacity of the microwave oven. It is a
frequently applicable and feasible appliance that is incapable of transmitting data but it is able to
radiate signals in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz Industrial, scientific and medical ISM band. Therefore,
it is regarded as an unintentional interferer that operates for the IEEE 802.11 wireless
communication signal (Taher, Misurac, LoCicero & Ucci, 2008). On the other hand the
second research paper explores the advances in the field of microwave power transfer that has
made it feasible and convenient to enhance and support wireless power transmission over wider
regions. In the field of advancements the development of remarkable innovations in the wireless
communication has provided an outcome of MIMO small cells and millimeter-wave
communication signals. With the innovative development of these advanced wireless
technologies there have been massive improvements in developing a proper platform to ensure
that wireless networks can suit aptly in implementing microwave power transfer (Kaibin Huang
and Xiangyun Zhou, 2019).
The discussions obtained from studying the two research papers would help to establish that the
second research paper is more firm, stable and competent in the field of microwave
communication systems. This is because it highlights on the wide range of services that the
advancements in microwave power transfer can provide. In addition, the logical assimilation
between the microwave power transfer and the wireless communication offers a broad new field
that is called the wirelessly powered communications. With the help of this WPC several new
arenas of research areas can evolve, which would include exploration of technological securities,
simultaneous data and power transmission, to name a few.

Advantages, disadvantages and superiority:

In the realm of discussing the advantages and disadvantages of microwave communication this
particular segment will provide deep insights into this area. The advantages related to microwave
communication explains that due to its broader bandwidth which offers huge amount of data
which can be transmitted by applying it. Moreover, the spectrum of microwave is divided into
various mediums as per its application. Microwave technology assists to maintain overloaded
spectrum by using high selective receivers, modulation methods and data compression methods.
However, the microwave communication is restricted to a line of sight mode, wherein other
modes of communication are not feasible. One of its major disadvantages is that resistors,
inductors, capacitors do not have similar features unlike microwave frequencies. They have a
lower frequency. Moreover, conventional transistors do not operate accurately at microwave
frequency in contrast to lower frequencies. On the other hand, WPC modes offer good deal of
mobility, because radio waves can travel freely through the air. It is a convenient and flexible
mode of communication. This is the only system through which, we can eradicate the system of
transmission of high power lines. The interference of microwave with the current communication
systems is a demerit of wireless power communication. Moreover, the effect of radiation is
profuse.
The second research paper which focuses on WPC mode is more superior to the first paper. This
is because in case of wireless power communication enables simultaneous transmission of power
and information, and techniques for secured WPC.

Recommendation for future improvement:

Recommendation for research paper 1:
In case of specific materials, it would be necessary to define the conditions under which,
microwaves offer stable processing. This could be developed by implementing suitable
numerical modeling techniques and could be portrayed through graphs, processing charts that
would include data about the properties of materials, specimen size and conditions for
processing. This particular modeling would need characterization of thermal and physical factors
of materials. This would include diffusivity, thermal expansion and conductivity properties. In
addition, research work should be focused on obtaining opportunities that would facilitate the
conversion of advancement procedures to manufacture scale.
Recommendation for research paper 2:
In case of the second research paper, the efficiency of WPC can be developed by enhancing the
dissemination of amplitude and phase distribution on the aperture of the broadcasting antenna. In
addition, when the dissemination of the aperture is stable and the equal amplitude is in sync with
in-phase dissemination, the efficiency of transmission could be enhanced by incorporating non-
uniform rectenna array.
Thus, by integrating these two recommendations there can be desirable improvements in the
operations in the future.

Conclusion:
Thus, to conclude, it can be said that the current study aimed at explaining the significance of
microwave communication system. It aimed at demonstrating the microwave communication
system and its implementation through the utilization of radio waves within a stipulated
frequency relating to transfer of signals between two locations. In order to demonstrate this
concept, this study took help of two noted journals. These journals presented an idea about the
prospect of microwave communication along with certain advancements involved in this field.
The study also provided with a contrast between the themes presented in these two journals. In
addition, it has also presented advantages, disadvantages and superiority of the subject matter
presented in these journals. Finally, recommendations for future improvements have also been
provided in this study.
