General description of literary book

The story of the little prince is a timeless tale and touches both the
young and the great. It is the appropriate story in which children,
without teaching tone, melancholy and exaggeration, take life lessons
and meditate on the favorite phrase: «Only with the heart do you see
well. The eyes do not see it!»
In this tutorial, students will, through discussion, open – ended
questions, case study, understand and name concepts such as frivolity,
arrogance, misery, thirst for power and money, people’s loneliness and
through the search for truth. Understand that what makes our lives
beautiful and special is only love, friendship, optimism and beauty.
They will also experiment with techniques and colors, painting and
music.

PROCEDURE
Step 1

The theme came up when one of the kinds was watching the little
prince in the theater and he told us about it.
Another kid said she knows her story, she has the three-dimensional
book.
They knew quite a bit about history. This is how the discussions begins.
Teachers help develop the discussion to tell the issues that the project
raises, what makes it so important, in their opinion, because it is time –
consuming and why it is read by all ages. It is decided to read the tale.
Because time does not allow for all chapters to be read, an interesting
summary of the book is viewed on YouTube by video on YouTube.
We then focus on specific pages of the book, where the values of love
and friendship are taught. Following is a discussion and video
presentation of only the chapters that refer to the concepts of Love and
Friendship.
The end of the story is shown later.
The points where life values are affected are discussed (what is
friendship, where do we find friends, how do we feel alone, what should
we do to avoid losing our friends, how do we show love, because love is
important in our lives…).
Then they give their own end to the tale.
Finally, 2 worksheets are given and the children explain in writing and
paint what is friendship and what is love.

Step 2

After the children have finished their journey with the little prince, they
are divided into small groups. Experiment with colors and techniques,
learn the basic colors and then the secondary from the interactive video.
They decide to paint with markers and wood paints, in collaboration
with each other, which made them more impressed by the story of the
little prince.
Here is music and song. Together they sing and learn the song of Marios
Frangoulis “The Little Prince”. At the same time, the video of the song is
displayed on the PC.
