INTRODUCTION

In the following report we work on unit 3 step 4 where the students of group 13 create a
website under the Visual Basic programming language in the .NET environment. The design
presented contains multimedia programming, and web design using the tools provided by Visual
Studio.

Software development is the process of conceiving, specifying, designing, programming,

documenting, testing and correcting errors involved in the creation and maintenance of
applications or other software components. In a broader sense, it includes everything that is
involved between the conception of the desired software through the final manifestation of the
software, sometimes in a structured plan and process. Therefore, software development may
include research, development, prototyping, modification, reuse, reengineering, maintenance or
any other activity that results in software products.
OBJECTIVES
Design a website in the .Net environment.

Identify the components and concepts of programming in Visual Basic .Net for

multimedia management.

Practice the concepts learned in unit 3.

Design a web page for the National Open and Distance University Unad, which manages

didactic content with multimedia support.

CONCLUSIONS

It is possible to implement a website under the Visual Basic .Net programming language,

where the tools, multimedia, linking of web pages are handled.

Each of the members of the group presents their proposal and in the end all the pages are

joined to form the website in full .NET programming.

The development of this work was very important because it allowed us to design in

Visual Studio, a web page for the National Open University and Unad Distance, that manages

didactic content with multimedia support.
