Responsibilities include:
Ø All administrative and operations involved in running a collegiate
bands program.
Ø Directing the Thiel Tomcat Marching Pride, Thiel Concert Band, Thiel
Jazz Ensemble, and various chamber ensembles as interest arises.
Ø Designing programs for each ensemble, writing and arranging music,
writing marching band drill, directing the preparation of the marching
band leadership team.
Ø Teaching private brass lessons.
Ø Teaching courses in music theory, music appreciation, music history,
and world music.
Ø All recruitment activities. I have created a new logo for the Thiel
Tomcat Marching Pride, designed an information packet for
distribution, purchased a bands table cover for recruitment events, as
well as improving the overall image of the Band Program at Thiel. I
am also in the process of creating a Youth Wind Ensemble for high
achieving area high school students.
