Introduction:
The main purpose of this business report is to represent the research done in Mahasagar Travels
Limited, tours and travel industry with regarding of information system. It will cover all the
results achieved including role of the information system, their types, advantages and
disadvantages, recommendations, etc. in the travel industry (MTO). In travel industry the
customers receive information through different channels and all these resources are collectively
known as the information system. In this report, we will describe how much type of information
system and how it can be implemented.

Benefits of System:

- This system is beneficial for making daily reports.

- This system is more beneficial than old system in various ways like, it helps to give data
separately i.e. Calculation of GST , avg. no. of booking , avg. amt. of booking charges
etc. are shown differently in this system.
- Avg. amt. can be calculated easily by this system.
- Online booking has increased after applying this system.
- Booking and data collection is more easily after using this system.

Challenges for this system:

- Employees had to change some working techniques but it is not that much difficult.

Problem for this system:

- This system applied from 16th September,2019 so till now they have not find more
problems in using this system .
- Till now they have found 1 problem which is ,
If the passenger has booked 1 ticket and after that the passenger wants to book more
additional ticket then employer has to cancel previous booking and re-booking again with
additional no. of tickets.

Conclusion:

On the basis of by findings and the research done, we can conclude the following points for
the information system In travel industry: Although the modern information system is very
beneficial and plays a very important role in organization. On the travel industry Many of the
basic operations can be implemented in automating form while implementing automating
from while implementing the information system for office automation. The latest and
innovative technology can be implemented to maintain .the prestige of organization and also
for the new ideas
