(Student will clap five times)

So, Can anyone guess what are the lesson

for today?
The lesson for today is about the Skeletal

System Teacher.

Very Good. We will learning about

our Skeletal System.

D. Unlocking Difficulties
Before we proceed on our discussion,
Let us first try to define some difficult
terms which we may encounter as we go
along. Kindly take a look at the board.
Everyone, Kindly read the the words
written on the visual.

Very Good! Look at this picture.

(STUDENT WILL LOOK AT THE PICTURE)

I want you to all choose a partner

and give the meaning to the words based
on what you see on the picture. I’ll give
10 minutes and you’ll going to share it in

(After 10 minutes class will be presenting in

front. Teacher will be take in charge if the
IV. Discussion
student might got the wrong meaning.)
Let us proceed to our discussion since
you already have an understanding about
the major bones of the Skeletal System
Now, we're going to discuss the specific
roles and function of bones.
Are you already?

Alright, The major functions of the bonesare We are all ready!

body support, facilitation of
movement, protection of internal organs,
storage of minerals and fat, and
hematopoiesis. Together, the muscular
system and skeletal system are known
as the musculoskeletal system.
Take a look at this picture.

Remember student that Without the

skeletal system, you would be a limp
mass of organs, muscle, and skin.
Bonesalso protect internal organs from
injury
by covering or surrounding them.
For example, your ribs protect your lungs
and heart, the bones of your vertebra
column (spine) protect your spinal cord,
and the bones of your cranium (skull)
protect your brain. Understand?

Take note class! Bones also serve as a site Got it Teacher!

for fat storage and blood cell production.
Kindly Read what’s on the board.

Bone Marrow is a unique connective tissue

There are two types of bone marrow it is that fills the interior of most bones.
yellow bone marrow and red bone
marrow.Red Marrow contains blood stem
cells
that become red blood cell, white blood
cells, or platelets while Yellow Marrow is
made mostly of fat. Look at this picture

Are we all clear? Yes teacher

Do you have any question?

None Teacher.

E. Application
Today. I want you to group yourself in
two group count 1-2 and start at the
back.
(Student will count 1-2)
I want you to demonstrate the different
ways of protecting Skeletal System
through Role Play. I’ll give 5 minutes to
come up with the story. Start Now.

(Student will be presenting the role play

We saw different ways of taking care our within 5 minutes.)

Skeletal System. Remember class that
no matter how old we are, We should
protect our bones by eating well,
exercising, and avoiding cigarettes and
we need to ensure that the 206 bones in
your body stay strong and supportive
throughout our life.Is that clear?

Yes Teacher

F. Generalization
So, Class what do you learned about our
topics today?
I’ve learned that our Skeletal System is

important because it serve us a supporting

structure.

Excellent! How many bones do we have?

We do have 206 bones teacher.
Alright! Give yourself a 10 clap
Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
