ART

Art. Actually, art has no definite definition, but basically it is simply an

application of human creative imagination. Art is a form of human expression.
Each of us has our own art. The way we sing, the way we dance, the way we
laugh, the way we cry; the way we dress, the way we talk, the way we walk,
the way we smile; is an art. Art is necessary because art is already part of our
life. It would be hard for us to survive in this world without art because
everything is an art and art is everything.

Yes, everything is an art .Everything we see, we touch, we hear, and feel

is a form of art. Art comes in many forms. It may come through visualization,
oral, or written. Everything we do is an art but we should do art in the right
place an in a correct manner. The way we act or respond to a thing is an art.
Everything is an art. Every little thing we have was made by humans artfully.
A thing would not be formed without art. Phenomenons and miracles are an
art. The way the world revolve and move is also one. Every cycle that happens
within the nature is also a form of art. So, everything is really an art.

Next, art is everything. We could not survive in this world without art
because art is necessary for survival. It is really helpful for us to do our tasks
easily. For instance, the technology nowadays are just one of the proofs that art
is indeed helpful. It makes things go smoothly. Another example, a tree is a
form of art and this tree is responsible for giving us oxygen; basically oxygen is
one of our necessities in life and we cannot survive in this world without it.
Then humans are also an art. We are the best creation of God and those any
other arts or masterpieces would not be made without our hands and creative
imagination. We are one of the mediums to make an artwork. Art gives us
happiness and satisfaction. Through art we would be able to express
everything. So, art is everything.

Art is needed. Through art everything would be dull and lifeless. So, we
humans, should preserve art as long as we can. Art may be changing but it’s
importance will never change.
INDIGENOUS and FESTIVAL DANCE
( REACTION PAPER )

A dance competition was conducted on November 14,2019 at the Jose

Rizal Memorial State University student’s gymnasium. The competition was
participated by the Grade 11 students. They performed the indigenous and
festival dance of the various tribes of the Philippines.

It was very hard to master the sequence and steps of the dances. Adding
to the stress is our strand’s lack of unity. We always argue about small thing
but at the end, we will still end up settling the mess and start thinking about
the plans to take to make our presentation more marvelous. I felt so nervous at
the day of the competition. The crowd, the judges, and our fellow participants
made me more nervous. But as we started,I, as one of the participants, was so
happy and enjoyed while dancing as well as with the presentation of the other
strand. It was so colorful and amazing. I was so overwhelmed seeing the young
generation still dancing the traditional dances of the different ethnic tribes of
the Philippines. I was never disappointed with the presentation of all the
strand. From the street dance to the festival dance is worth watching for. I also
appreciate the cheers and shouts of the audience for the strand that they bet.
But for every competition, there should be a winner; that was announced at the
Senior’s Night later that day. Everyone was so much excited to find out who
were the winners are. The first award is for the Indigenous dance and we were
so grateful that time because we, the ABM students, was announced to be the
champion of the said category. The first place was taken by the HUMMSS B
students followed by the STEM students who got the second place. For the next
category which is the Festival dance, the STEM students were announced as
the champion while we got the first place followed by the HUMMSS B students.
We were so joyous for the results. Finally, our efforts were paid off. It was a
memorable and one of the most fascinating event I have ever joined.
