magnetic field intensity for two magnetic materials A and B. (i) Identify the materials.
(ii) For the material B, plot the variation of intensity of magnetization versus
temperature.

38. A circular coil of 200 turns, radius 5 cm carries a current of 2.5 A. It is suspended
vertically in a uniform horizontal magnetic field of 0.25 T, with the plane of the coil
making an angle of 600 with the field lines. Calculate the magnitude of the torque that
must be applied on it to prevent it from turning.
39. A current is flowing in a circular coil of radius ‘r’ and magnetic field at its center is B0. At
what distance from the center on the axis of the coil, the magnetic field will be

43. A galvanometer coil has a resistance of 12 W and the meter shows full scale deflection
for a current of 3 mA. How will you convert the meter into a voltmeter of range 0 to 18
V?

expression for the radius of the circular path in which it travels.
