Project Title: Isang Timba, Magbibigay Pag-asa

I. Rationale
Organic farming is one of the solutions on getting rid of the problem in healthy living.
This can be done easily in backyards or small scale vegetables raising. This program can be
easily taught to children where they could get ready and healthy veggies for their meals. This
school year 2019-2020, Sandiat West Elementary School launched the project entitled Isang
Timba, Magbibigay Pag-asa. The project is open to all learners as a voluntary project but an
obligatory requirement for the undernourished children.

It is an obligatory requirement to undernourished children to teach them to become

responsible in determining good foods for their health. On the part of the parents, this will
indulge them in raising supplemental feeding materials for their children.

Isang Timba, Magbibigay Pag-asa will be completed from August, 2019 to January,
2020 or 180 days. Vegetables to be planted are the easy to grow and harvest veggies like
swamp cabbage, ginger, onion, eggplant, pechay, ampalaya, etc.

II. General Objective:

To raise supplemental feeding materials through planting vegetables.

III. Specific Objectives:

1. To teach children become responsible in raising their own food thru planting
vegetables.
2. To encourage parents to indulge themselves in raising foods for their
children.
3. To plant vegetables in season.
