LESSON PLAN Subject: English

Trainee: Mahra Albloushi Topic or Theme: Grow in the garden

Class: KG2-2 Date & Duration: 28-10-2018

Trainee Personal Goals:

I am working on having a good classroom management with a productive lesson and to make sure
that every child understands the lesson.

Lesson Focus

1- Letter Aa sound
2- Counting (from 1-20)
3- Parts of plants

Lesson Outcomes:

English: KS2 1.1.2: Pronounce new words correctly.

Science: students will label parts of plants .

Math: K2NS7 : recognize written numerals from 1-10 in Arabic and English

Links to Prior Learning

- Teacher will remind the students about the letter that they have took yesterday and she will
start asking them questions.
- Students should be able to count from 1-10.

21st Century Skills

Communicate + collaborate: In pairs students will share their work and their ideas by telling each
other’s what they did in the centres.

Media literacy: teacher will use computer and white board.

Key vocabulary:

Alligator- apple- ant – arm – flower- steam- leaves- roots.
