Trainee Personal Goals:

I am working on having a good classroom management with a productive lesson and to make sure
that every child understands the lesson.

Lesson Focus

1- Letter Aa sound
2- Counting (from 1-20)
3- Parts of plants

Lesson Outcomes:

English: KS2 1.1.2: Pronounce new words correctly.

Science: students will label parts of plants .

Math: K2NS7 : recognize written numerals from 1-10 in Arabic and English

Links to Prior Learning

- Teacher will remind the students about the letter that they have took yesterday and she will
start asking them questions.
- Students should be able to count from 1-10.

21st Century Skills

Communicate + collaborate: In pairs students will share their work and their ideas by telling each
other’s what they did in the centres.

Media literacy: teacher will use computer and white board.

Key vocabulary:

Alligator- apple- ant – arm – flower- steam- leaves- roots.

- Some students may have
some difficulties with
writing the full sentence (I

- Teacher could help the students by practising it for them
every day OR Teacher will choose the students who had
difficulties to participate on the board with her while all
the students are participating on the board.

Glue – coloured papers (green blue white)- cupcakes cups – seasors – wooden sticks -the magic bag-
plastic apple – plastic alligator- plastic banana - boards and markers – water colours and brushes –
pencil- pencil colours .

the story’s words which stars with letter A.
