Audio Rider / technical Rider

Hauschka SOLO 2014

Whilst we know venues differ tremendously we hope the
information contained will be helpful. Please do not hesitate in
calling to discuss if everything can not be provided/arranged as
requested we are all to happy to try and work it out together, we
want to make an HAUSCHKA show a happy working event.

If anything on this rider you are unable to accommodate please let us know at least 7 days in
advance of the show and an agreement has to be made by HAUSCHKA Production otherwise
contract will be in breach

production Requirements:

Stage:
We requires a minimum stage size of twenty ft (20´) wide x twelf ft (12´) deep.
( min. 6 x 4 meter )
Stage should be smooth, level, secure, stable, and able to support Artist's equipment and
performance. Provide stairs for personnel, and ramp for equipment. It is essential that any
temporary or portable stage be properly grounded.

Mix Position:
A site for HAUSCHKA sound console oreferable in central position approximately in the centre
of the room and not under a bolcony. A free Line of sight to artist performance is a must.

N.B. If these staging requirements cannot be met The Artist must be advised immediately in
writing.

Power:
One (1) – single phase 10amp power supply (230V GermanPlug) seperate from all other house
supplies for HAUSCHKAs electronic stuff left at the musican position.

Parking:
If HAUSCHKA is travelling by Car a parking space near the Stageentry is needed.

Stage Covering:
Adequate stage covering must be provided at outdoor
shows to prevent Artist equipment from getting wet.

ELECTRICIAN:
A qualified electrician familiar with the building, to connect power supply at load-in, to be
present throughout the show, andto disconnect supply after show.

VENUE SPECS:

Please provide a detailed technical specification of the venue, (including sound level limits )
and a map or diagram showing its location within seven days of receipt of this rider.

VEHICLE PERMITS:

Promoter shall provide any local driving or parking permits which may be needed by touring
production vehicles.

SOUNDCHECK:
SOUNDCHECK:
We would like to have line checking for 1 hour and a soundcheck for 1/2 hour. Exact running
order for each day can be finalised between Promoter and our Production Manager /
HAUSCHKA.

PASSES:
PASSES:
The Artist production will issue local working passes as required.
**In the event of “festival conditions apply”, the festival should issue passes that have no
restrictions to the band and crew, this must include access to other stages in case the band
would like to visit other stages**

STAGE & LOAD IN/OUT AREAS:

AREAS:
Please make sure the stage and working areas are clean and that nothing is obstructing any
area needed. This must be done by load in time.

Merchandising:
A Table for HAUSCHKA merchandise is needet in entrancehall or in smaller venues in Front of
Stage.

COMMUNICATIONS:
It would be fantastic if free but protected broadband Internet connection were available for the
bands dressing room if this is password protected please sign this in the dressing room.

PA Specification
The following is a Minimum Specification. Hauschka Management must be informed
of any significant changes at least 14 days before the engagement.
Competent in house technican must be provided!

1) Loudspeaker System
Prefered Systems are L-acoustics, JBL AXYS Targetsystem, Meyer Sound or comparable
systems.
The sound system must be in full working order and capable of faithfully reproducing the full
Audio band (40-16000Hz) @ 99dB / Lequ without audible distortion at the FOH mix position.
It is very important to have enought headroom for the uncompressed dynamic in the
performance.
We need bass for the electronical sampels and sound effects.
Please keep in mind that we make sounds like a full drumsset with bassdrum.
It is the PA providers responsibility to have equal caverage from the first row all the way till
the back of the highest balcony.

2) Front of House Console

We will need the promoter to provide a DigiDesign/AVID SC48 or a Midas Heritage /XL. If
analogue please provide inserts as per channel list.

3) Outboard / Inserts and effects ( incase of analogue console)

We will need the following outboard equipment, which should be supplied with all the
necessary patch cables.
1 High quality 1/3 octave graphic equalizer in both sides of the house system. (BSS or Klark
Teknik)
2 digital reverb units (PCM91, Bricasti or M5000, M2000, M1)
1 digital delay (D-Two)
2 channel of professionel compression (DBX, BSS, Klark Teknik)
2 channel of professionel gate (Drawner, Klark Teknik)
1 CD player and connector for I-Pod

3) Monitor System
2 high quality and identical floor monitors ( Duran Audio UFM256, MeyerSound, D&B )

Bachline Requirements:
GrandPiano (minimum Yamaha C5)

We need two 9V Batteries

Lighting:
We need a teather like Lighting, No Moves, some Scenes with dark and warm Colors.

Video:
If possible we would like to have a Videoprojection to show the Inside of the Piano.
Please provide camera.
