DESCRIPTION
My podcast is about poverty in America and how we people you have the
minimum of living does nothing to try and help the people who do not. We
do not see people who are homeless apart of society we cut them from te
social life because they are not like us. People try to think they are good
people but are they trying to make a difference and try to help our poverty
rate go down. How can you make an impact and help change the way
people looks at people who do not have the necessary needs to survive.

The genre is society and culture. But it’s reality and it’s problems. How can
we be the ones to make a difference and help society to make the right
choice and help people find their way back to their way of life and their role
in society.

DESCRIPTION HOST
Well this podcast is made solely by me and I am the host of it. My name is
Elysia Valdez from New Mexico but is going to Arizona State University
and going to become a teacher. I am all about the people and trying/ wanting
to make a difference in society especially in people’s lives.

ESTIMATED LENGTH OF SHOW

The time I length for this podcast was about 10 minutes just to make my
point and to say what needs to be said. Because I believe this is an
interesting and a real problem to be talked about and people need to realize
how homeless people live through everyday basis without thenecessary
needs.

PROPOSED FREQUENCY OF SHOW

I would have to say I focused on this or trying to think of a topic like about
for a week because there are so many topics and things to think about when
trying to choose a topic. But I propose there should be like a topic like every
week on different real life problems.

PODCAST FORMAT STRUCTURE

I chose these little titles to support my main topic because they are the main
and specific details of how poverty effects people that are living through it.

SCRIPT VS OUTLINE
I would do both but it depends on the topic. Like I can interview guests for
example like homeless people and how they get to day by day basis. Or if

it’s just about a politics and global warming I could narrate it myself. It
honestly just depends on the topic and how you go about trying to explain
the real message of your topic. So maybe when trying to begin a topic for
your new podcast try making it a good issue in society one that no one
hardly recognizes and make a voice in your issue to help pursue everyone
else that might have the same issue but afraid to speak up.

COVER IMAGE

In my cover image I chose a little kid whose lives in poverty and trying to
make a living out of what he has. It also shows how much children live in
poverty and how their parents do not have much to live off of. It’s crazy
how bad society had gotten to and how we are not trying to do anything
about it. So help the world out a little and be kind and support the ones that
are suffering.
