single-step practical problems that involve multiplication and division
through 10 × 10; c) demonstrate fluency with multiplication facts of 0, 1,
2, 5, and 10; and d) solve single-step practical problems involving
multiplication of whole numbers, where one factor is 99 or less and the
second factor is 5 or less.
Pedagogy
Online Activity In this activity students will learn how to
solve model multiplication and division.

Before the activity students should have an


idea what multiplication is and how to
solve multiplication and division
questions.

The activity will ask students to display


how they get their answer from various
models through multiplication and
division.

The online class will be introduced of the


expectations of how I want them to show
how they solved their question correctly.

After the brief introduction of expectations


and examples students will play the

. This online simulation will allow students


to visually see and model multiplication
and division.

After the simulation the educator will give


an online bell ringer with various models
that the student has to solve.
