26.1 PRE-CONSTRUCTION ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT
26.1.1 Pre construction anti-termite treatement at the bottom of foundation pits
and walls on either side up to a height of 300mm from bottom of the
excavation made for column, plinth beam, wall trenches etc. by applying
the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter of the surface area before
starting construction work (supplying of necessary tools and accessories
by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department complete.

a) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose Sq.m

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

b) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 Sq.m
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
26.1.2 Pre construction anti-termite treatement in the back fill in immediate
contact with the foundation structure after completion, column, wall etc. to
a depth of 450mm and width 300mm (when required refill in 200mm thick
layers) applying the emulsion @ 5 (five) litres per square meter towards
the concrete and masonry walls so as to ensure earth in contact with the
strructure well treasted- with chemical (supolying of necesary tools and
accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the Department
complete.

a) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose Sq.m

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

b) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 Sq.m
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
26.1.3 Pre construction anti-termite treatement by applying in the entire levelled
area after plinth filling and before laying floor, tricel solution @ 5 (five)
litres per square meter of the surface to be spread with light rodding so as
to ensure proper absorption by the filled up earth (supplying of necesary
tools and accessories by the contractor) as per the direction of the
Department complete.

a) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose Sq.m

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

b) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 Sq.m
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
26.1.4 Pre construction anti-termite treatement by applying in the junction of
walls, coloumn with the floor before laying floor and after operation of item
no.26.1.3 above making a channel 300mmx 30mm all over the walls and
making rod holes @ 150mm apart up to ground level below and applying
emulsion @ 11 litres per square meter of vertical plinth wall surface inside
the building so as to soak the soil with the emulsion up to the ground level
and refill the holes and channel with the original materials obtained in
making channels (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the
contractor ) as per the direction of the Department complete.
 a) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose Sq.m
solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

b) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 Sq.m

26.1.5 Pre construction anti-termite treatement by applying in the junction of
walls, coloumn with the floor before laying floor and after operation of item
no.26.1.3 above making a channel 300mmx 30mm all over the walls and
making rod holes @ 150mm apart up to ground level below and applying
emulsion @ 11 litres per square meter of vertical plinth wall surface inside
the building so as to soak the soil with the emulsion up to the ground level
and refill the holes and channel with the original materials obtained in
making channels (supplying of necessary tools and accessories by the
contractor ) as per the direction of the Department complete.

26.2 POST CONSTRUCTION ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT :
26.2.1 Diluting and injecting aqueous emulsion for post constructional anti -
termite treatment (Necessary tools and accessories to be supplied by the
contractors).
a) (a) Along external wall (where apron is not provided) in the vertical surface
of the substructure to a depth of 300mm including excavation channel
along the wall and rodding etc. by applying the emulsion at 2.5 litres per
square metre complete as directed by the department.

i) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose r.m.

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

ii) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 r.m.
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
b) (b) Along external wall below concrete or masonry apron using aqueous
emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or
equivelant) and water @ 1 litre per linear metre including drilling and
plugging holes (Minimum depth of hole should be 300mm).

i) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose r.m.

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

ii) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 r.m.
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
c) (c) Treatment of soil under existing floors using aqueous emulsion having
concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose solution (tricel or equivalent) and
water @ 0.50 litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling 12mm diameter
holes and plugging with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to
match the existing floor. (Cement mortar to be measured and paid
separately). (Minimum depth of the hole should be 300mm).

i) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose Sq.m

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

ii) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 Sq.m
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
d) (d) Treatment of existing masonry using aqueous emulsion having
concentration 1:20 with tricel solution, or it's equivalent and water @ 0.5
litres per hole, 300mm apart including drilling holes at 45 degree and
plugging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to the
full depth of the hole. (Minimum depth of the hole should be 300mm).

i) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose r.m.

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.
 ii) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 r.m.
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
e) (e) Treatment at points of contactwith wood work by aqueous emulsion
having concentration 1:20 with tricel solution, or it's equivalent and water
@ 0.50 litre/ hole by drilling 6mm diameter holes at downward angle of 45
degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same.

i) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:19 with chloropirophose r.m.

solution (tricel or equivalent) and water, i.e. 1% solution.

ii) With aqueous emulsion having concentration 1:499 with Premise 350 r.m.
SC (Imidachloprid 30.5% SC) and water, i.e. 0.07% solution.
