I have taught grade two an English lesson, reviewing all the chapter together by adding different
lessons together, I have looked to make the content of my lesson relevant to the lives, needs and
experiences of the children, I elicited and used guided questions throughout the lesson and it was
continually available to students throughout I have also linked this lesson to past activities.
I have select 4 LO’S for the lesson from three different goals in listening students will be able to
listen and respond appropriately to peers and adults, in reading student will read and re- read very
short and simple texts and in writing, to write the most common high frequency words correctly
and in speaking student will Participate in very short, simple interactions on familiar topics.
I always try to make different worksheets and activities to the special need student to cater there
needs in the class, also there is a special need teacher she helps the student to finish their work in
the class.
Teachers always should to use positive reinforcement in the class to encourage the student, even
if there has done not well work, teacher can use the positive reinforcement so student can feel it’s
okay if we have mistaken and we can fix it, to me I always use the reward stamps that include a
positive and encouraging words such as ( nice work, well done ,awesome, very good, fantastic
and super) ,by stamp it at their work that they have done or their hands, this way word really
works for student and they finish the work fast and well to get this stamps and these words in
their hands.

The aim of my lesson was how connect English with math together by read in English and solve
such as count how many is there, and how to add and subtract.
My student already has an idea about, numbers from 1 to10, know how to add and subtract and
the vocabulary for classroom objects.
They already know the different between short a and u words and gives examples for it.

My lesson was for grade 2 students, I have done It in 23th of November 2019, my learning
objective or goal was how to manage the student behavior and how deal with the bad behavior by
using different strategies, because I always struggle with the bad behavior students and I can’t
stop them from their bad behaviors, so I but some steps to myself to follow by use different
strategies and Tanique such as using the star wall, ClassDojo.

I have done this lesson with grade 2/C, they were doing very great in the lesson, the lesson was
very well planned and suited the ability/needs of these students.
All the activities that I prepper were suitable for all the students level, I have splits the activities
into 5 different centers, the first center:
§ They have a review about what they love to eat in breakfast.
§ Student have cards include the names of the food types.
§ Student got a paper to write what they love to eat in full sentence.
§ Low-level student, will have the sentence in the paper and they should to write the food
type they like.
The second center:
§ They will have a review about the family members name, and they should to write how
many members in their family.
§ There are …… in my family. My …..., My…., and me.
§ Draw their family.
§ Low-level student has got the family membership words in cards and they can copy the
spelling.
The third center:
§ They have a review about short (a) words, and they should have to match the words with
right pictures.
§ Low-level student coloured and circle the short (a) words.
The forth centre:
§ Student will have a review about numbers, they will solve addition and subtraction
questions.
§ Low-level student can use the counters to help them.
The fifth centre:
§ Student have use numbers cards and pictures, they count and match the correct number
with it.

At the end of lesson, I achieve my goal, I rewarded positive behavior and ignored the
inappropriate one, (and this is usually rare for novice teachers) as my MCT said to me, which its
show to me that I can handle the student behavior it’s not difficult to me.

To be perfect in future I should to develop some skills, my grammar mistakes when I thought the
student, it’s hard to me to fix these errors because this what I have learned since I was child, but
am doing my best to fix it.
