Sigarev Vasily Vladimirovich was born in 1977 in the city of Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk Region.

He studied at the Nizhny


Tagil Pedagogical Institute. He left the 3rd year and entered the Yekaterinburg Theater Institute for a course in drama
workshop Nikolai Kolyada.
In 2005, he staged the play "Black Milk" at the Puppet Theater (Yekaterinburg).
In 2009, he shot the LOLTOP film with Yana Troyanova in the title role. The film was released in 51 copies in major cities of
Russia, was a member of the Channel One program "Closed Screening".
In 2012, at the Rotterdam Film Festival, the world premiere of the second film “Live” took place with the participation of Yana
Troyanova, Alexei Filimonov, Olga Lapshina, Dmitry Kulichkov and others. The film bought the 3SAT channel for showing in
Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“Plasticine” was staged in Moscow at the Center for Drama and Directing (the performance was a participant in the Bonner

Theater (London), on the radio BBC (radio version), at the Schauspielhaus theater (Hamburg). The play is in Norway
(Bergen, Oslo - National Theater), Sofia, Belgrade, Porto and other European cities. Published in the anthology of the
modern Russian drama “Nails of the Century” Belgrade, in the collection “Plasticine”, in the collection of plays “Rehearsal”,
in the magazines “Ural” “Fresh Literature”, “Hoyte Theater” (Germany), “Dialogue” (Poland) and other European
magazines. Translated into English, German, Polish, Serbian, Finnish, French, Danish, Swedish, Dutch and other
languages.

“Black milk” was staged in two theaters in Moscow (at the Gogol Theater and at the Nikitsky Gate Theater), at the Royal
Court Theater (London), at the Gorky Theater (Berlin) and some Russian cities. Published in the journal "Modern Drama", in
the playbook "Rehearsal", translated English and German, Finnish, Swedish, Greek and Polish.

"Snowstorm" according to the story of the same name A.S. Pushkin was staged in 1999 at the Chamber Theater in
Yekaterinburg and several Russian cities. Published in the playbook of the Ural authors "Blizzard".

The Lie Detector has been delivered to the Satirical Theater (Sofia), Nizhny Tagil, Volgograd, Gomel, Minusinsk,
Blagoveshchensk, Vladimir, Moscow and other cities. Translated into Bulgarian

The “Ghoul Family” was delivered in Nizhny Tagil, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Cheboksary, Tobolsk, in many cities of
Kazakhstan and other Russian cities. Published in the Ural magazine, translated into German and Polish.

Russian Lotto was delivered in Angarsk and Dzerzhinsk.

“Pyshka” based on the novel by Guy de Maupassant of the same name was delivered at the Moscow Art Theater, Nizhny
Tagil, Blagoveshchensk.

“Phantom pains” was staged in the theaters “Basement”, “Camelot”, “Theater.doc” and the Moscow theater
“Sphere”. Published in the collections “May Readings” and “Rehearsal”. Translated into Polish, French and Serbian.

Pit - a documentary play staged in Moscow as part of the Documentary Theater festival.

“Love at the drain tank” was staged in Krasnoyarsk.

Keyhole was published in the May Readings collection and the Ural Pathfinder magazine.

"The Leader of the Redskins" by O. Henry is a participant in the Youth Theater festival in St. Petersburg. It was staged at
the A. Mironov Theater (St. Petersburg).
