MORNING ROUTINE PREPARATIONS
1. Open the lights and exhaust fan.
2. Sweep and mop the floor and CR.
3. Turn on the A/C.
4. Turn on the PC and printer.
5. Clean your personal working area.
6. Check & record the room temperature.
7. Check and record the ref temperature.
8. Prepare the EXTRACTION AREA.
9. Fill the COTTON CONTAINER.
10. Check the syringe: 3 cc and 5cc.
11. Check and clear the sink.
12. Short prayer and devotion.
13. START OF WORK.
RECEIVING PATIENTS’ SPECIMEN
1. Greet them with a lovely smile.
2. Ask for the laboratory test needed.
3. Ask for doctor’s request. (if available)
4. Have a short talk with the patients (how are
they feeling?)
5. Check if the test needed is offered in KDC.
6. Give them the ROUTING SLIP and kindly ask
them to fill up the form.
7. Proceed with payment and hand them over
the OFFICIAL RECEIPT.
8. Give the CONTROL # assigned to them and
write it on the ROUTING SLIP.
9. Prepare the tubes and place the sticker of
the control #.
10. Call the Medtech for blood
extraction/specimen collection.
11. Instruct the patients for the releasing and
claiming of results.

authorization letter if needed)
RECEIVING PATIENTS’ SPECIMEN
12. Always thank the patient for coming to KDC.
13. LOG THE NECESSARY INFORMATION IN
THE RECEIVING LOGBOOK.
14. If not in a hurry, allow them to FILL UP THE
PATIENT’S SURVEY FORM and they can also
offer suggestion to improve our healthcare
services. We value their concerns.
15. FILL UP THE RELEASING LOGBOOK FOR THE
NECESSARY INFORMATION.
RELEASING PATIENTS’ RESULTS
1. Greet them with a lovely smile.
2. Ask for the OFFICIAL RECEIPT & VALID ID.
3. Kindly ask for their SIGNATURE on the
Releasing logbook as a proof that they have
already claimed the official results.
4. Always be grateful for having them as our
dear patients.
5. Give FLYERS so that they can PROMOTE us
with their friends and family.
6. Say that we look forward in seeing them
again and we will pray for their good
health.
