VI. Date : October 29 , 2019

VII. Background/ Rationale:

AIDS is a disease that recognizes no territorial, social, political and economic boundaries for
which a cure as yet to be discovered. And if found a cure, RA8504 shall continue to serve as
an important guide in sustaining prevention and control efforts and caring to people of all
ages already infected. In consonance there at, LGU are enjoined to
create/reorganize/reactivate local HIV AIDS council to scale up government efforts in the
campaign against HIV and AIDS as part of it commitment to heal achieve the millennium
Development Goals.

VIII. Objectives:

1. To formulate plan, programs, policies and projects that will address HIV/AIDS related issues
and concerns in the Municipality of Ilog.

2. To determine means of controlling the prevalence of STI/HIV/AIDS and identify possible

source.
 IX. Activities: Reorganization of HIV/AIDS Council and Municipal Nutrition Council and
Presentation of Data and Feed backing.

X. Mayor, Chairman Committee on Health, Dep Ed personnel and All Department Heads

VIII. Budgetary Requirements:

1 Snack and 1 Lunch (250.00 pesos x 50 persons) = 12,500.00

Reproductive Health Day

1. Conduct Symposium among targeted persons (Reproductive age group & LGBT’s)

2. To conduct HIV testing to LGBT’s and to those who are willing.

X. Budgetary Requirements:

1 snack to 100 persons at 50.00/pax = P5, 000.00

1 lunch to 100 persons at 200.00/pax = P20, 000.00
