1. GENERAL
2. SITE CONDITIONS
*)Manufacture's Standards Form will be applied for All documents and drawings
All shop inspection and no-load mechanical running test are included as our standard.
No-load mechanical running test will be carried out in our factory according to
manufacturer's standard procedure before shipping to the site.
The test will be performed with live steam from our shop boiler and with our
shop lube oil unit.
Following test and inspection will be performed during the no-load mechanical
running test.
- Mechanical running test (at No-load for One hour)
- Vibration check
- Overspeed trip test
- Overspeed running test (120% of rated speed for 2 min.)
- Protection device check
Test and inspection for aux. equipment such as lube oil unit, reduction gear, control
panel and etc. will be carried out separately as per manufacturer's standard procedure.
Witness inspection and test will be included as per test and inspection plan.
Test report will be submitted as final.
6. PACKING
All the equipment and its accessories shall be packed in accordance
with our standard practice for export shipment, so as to avoid any loss
or damage during transportation and rough handling.
Shall the limit of transportation is exceeded, some parts on turbine baseplates will be
transported loosely. Reassembling of those parts on site shall be performed by customer.
Auxiliaries equipments (e.g: Lube oil, Reduction gear, Generator) may also be transported
in divisions. Assembilng shall be performed by customer.
(SNM will dispatch Technical Advisor)

All equipments covered in this specification shall be guaranteed for operation
under normal operation conditions. The guaranteed covers defective design,
materials and workman ship only and shall not be applicable to damages
sustained through misuse of the equipment.
The covered defects shall be made good by us at no charge to the client.
But the guarantee period is for a period of eighteen(18) months after commissioning
or twenty four(24) months after the date of shipment, whichever comes earlier.
Warranty period will be commercial matter and confirmed at contract stage.

14. STEAM QUALITY
Deposits on the turbine blading due to steam contamination may bring about
thermodynamical and mechanical disturbances. Moreover, if chlorides are
involved under certain circumstances blade fractures might occur.
Corrosion depending strain, caused by aggressive deposites, affects above
all in the state of commencing steam wetness the alternating bending strength
of the blade material.
These recommendations concerning the steam quality are in line with the
guide lines for continuous turbine operation issued by the VGB(Vereinigung
der Groβkesselbetreiber in Deutschland).
To avoid misunderstandings we point out that even full compliance with the
guide lines does not guarantee absolutely safe a depositfree turbine.
The steam contaminations and their portion of mixture represent the most
essential factor as to precipitation, however, this problem is not fully
solved up to now. If there is a chance to improve the steam cleanliness in
comparison with the guide lines, make use of it.
Supervision
Continuous monitoring of the water/steam system by means of recording instru-
ments is recommended for the electrical conductivity at 25℃ and
for the Silica content. The monitoring instruments should be provided on
the inlet steam or on the exhaust steam side.
All sub vendors(world wide) must complete screening and selection process
conducted by our Quality Management System.
