deploy industry-standard access control
modules and protect their investments
for years to come. The HID VertX† EVO
V2000 is a dual-reader intelligent controller
that can manage up to two doors with
a maximum of two readers. Handling all
access control door decisions, the V2000
will report events and alarms in real-time
over any IP network to the Synergis IP
access control solution.

Connects to and reports activities to the Genetec™
Synergis™ IP access control solution over an IP network
Handles all access control decisions and monitors
activity even when disconnected from the
Synergis system
Supports up to 65,000 cardholders
When disconnected from Synergis, the V2000
buffers up to 99,999 offline events and reports
them once connectivity is reestablished
Additional capabilities include elevator control, hard
antipassback, and offline input/output (IO) linking
UL 294 and FCC Class A recognized components
Available Interfaces
Readers: Up to 2 readers (Wiegand or Clock-and-
Data interface)
Inputs: Up to 7 inputs (2 door monitors, 2 REX
switches, AC fail, Battery fail and Tamper)
Outputs: Up to 4 non-latching relay outputs (2
door strikes, 2 auxiliary devices)
