plot of the book.
B. For Poetry Books: Explain the type(s) of poetry and give examples from
the book of fun word choices, lines of poetry and imagery from the
poem(s)
C. For Nonfiction Genres – Explain the information given, how it is shared-
what design
= It’s a fun book for children since it asks them a lot of questions of what lives
beyond the jungle. It shows tiny animals to the biggest animals in the jungle. The
design is cartoon art but its very realistic to what the animals actually look like.
It shows where the animals live in that habitat and what the animal specifically
looks like as well.
Explain how the book appeals to children, their interests, developmental levels,
fun illustrations etc. Give specific examples from the book:
It appeals to children since their interested in nature and learning about
something they already know about. Right now they’re also using their
imagination more and expanding their knowledge and being curious about
everything. This book will teach them about animals they maybe have not heard
about.
