Mrs Lindh, President-in-Office of the Council, and Mr Prodi, President of the Commission, made statements
on the preparatory work for the Stockholm European Council (23/24 March 2001).

; Díez González, who referred to Question 91 which was not taken as planned at Question Time the
previous day for lack of time and expressed her amazement that both the question and the Commis-
sion’s answer had been published in the Spanish press although the author of the question, Mrs García-
Orcoyen Tormo had yet to receive the answer; she asked whether information had been leaked either
from the European Parliament or from the Commission (the President replied that there had been no
leaks from Parliament and undertook to refer the matter to the Commission).
; Galeote Quecedo, who underlined the shrewdness of the Spanish media.
