11/25/19 I researched common emergency scenarios and what the best 2

actions are. I researched severe injury leading to shock, heat
stroke, severe allergy attack, and diabetic shock. At this point I
focused on what actions a medical professional should take in
order to save a life.

11/26/19 I decided to research what a civilian should do to assist 3

someone in these scenarios, since the purpose of this game is to
educate people who are not already trained in medicine. This
meant cutting out some steps a hospital would take and coming
up with alternatives based on real world resources. This step
was more difficult, since people can not provide Oxygen on the
street or life saving drugs.

11/27/19 I made a basic outline for the correct choices for each of the 4 2
scenarios.

11/30/19 I went back to my outline and added one or two incorrect 2

choices for each correct choice for each scenario. I tried to
make these incorrect choices seem someone reasonable choices
that someone under stress could make, even if they are wrong.

12/7/19 I began coding my actual game. I spent most of my time on this 5

day simply trying to learn how to code something like this.
After realizing how time consuming and tedious this is, I have
decided to make my original work in basic html format.

12/8/19 I continued coding the game. I am choosing to begin with a 3

scenario in which the patient is impaled and enters
hypovolemic shock. I believe that this will be one of the more
interesting scenarios for players, so I am beginning with it in
case I do not get to any others. Coding this one scenario has
unexpectedly taken up so much time that for now, I will just
present this one scenario as my original work. However, I will
create at least two more before the research showcase.

12/9/19 I went to play the game to ensure that it was working for when 3
I present it tomorrow and it appeared that all of the code I
wrote disappeared. I am still not sure what happened but I spent
this time re-doing the whole game.
