Shibori Collection
Our textile artist achieves
the wonderfully varied three-
dimensional patterns and tex-
tures in our new collection by
using the ancient resist-dye
technique of Japanese shibori.
After patiently pleating, bind-
ing, stitching or folding the
coordinated organic cotton
fabric components, she then
applies subtle layers of vegetable
dyes. The double border of our
duvet frames a taupe shibori pod
design within a band of natural
colored linen, surrounded in
turn by a wider band of soft,
white organic cotton. Four dif-
ferent pillow shams complement
the duvet. The standard sham
features a white band bordering
the shibori pod pattern. The
king-size sham reverses that
D filler provides firm yet gentle

design, with a shibori pod pat-
tern bordering the plain white
interior. We also offer two dec-
orative pillows, a small shibori
pod pillow and a euro-size leaf
