Problem:
On our MF/HF system STR2000 you may have problems on software versions
higher than 2-0-1, the system will be blocked after more than 50 incoming DSC
calls.
Solution:
These units you have to update to our latest software version 2-0-3 E00.08.
On this software version the hanging on incoming DSC’s shall disappear,
the telex is full functional and you have a new function F5 to Prevent/Allow
TX power, which you may need on tankers.
Instruction:
Insert the update diskette DIS-2070 in drive a: , change to drive a: and type at
the DOS prompt a:\> “update” . Now the necessary files will be updated automati-
cally. After this remove the diskette and restart the system.
The passwords you may need are:-“NIT” to enter the BIOS
-“FUZZ” to exit to DOS ( with F12)
-“PINK” to enter the bite test
-“NOPA” to use Prevent/Allow TX Power( F5)
Material:
Update diskette DIS-2070 ( 2-0-1 to version 2000-2-0-3 E00.08 English).
This software you can use for harddisk and disk on chip version.
Time:
Maximum 0,5 h

Travel and Freight are not covered under warranty. For vessels out of warranty
period Raytheon will accept only the material and 0,5h working time!
