Introduction :
Job satisfaction is the long-term prospect of employment in the organization, which
creates a sense of contribution and dedication to the employees. This is with regard
to one’s feelings or mental state with respect to the nature of their work. It can be
influenced by various factors, for example, the quality of one’s relationship with
their manager, the quality of physical atmosphere in which they work, degree of
accomplishment in their work, etc.
Job satisfaction is also provides positive emotional circumstances when a person
fulfil his requirements and aspirations and it may be general or specific. Job
satisfaction studies continue to emerge, and results are often valued for both
humanistic and financial benefits.

Statement of the problem :


It is said that satisfied employee is productive employee, any kind of grievance
relating to organizational or personal to a great extent influence on the job. So
every organization is giving higher priority to keep their employees with
satisfaction by providing several facilities which improves satisfaction and which
reduces dissatisfaction. Job satisfaction is considered as a key issue by the
entrepreneur where efforts are taken and programs are initiated.
Objectives of the study :
 To measure the employee job satisfaction level in HIMALAYA DRUG
COMPANY.
 To study the employee’s perceptions towards organization.
 To study the attitude of the employees towards their work.
 To give suggestion for the growth and perspective of the company.
 To study the problem associated with the job.
Scope of the study :
Job satisfaction is an important output that employees work for organization. It is
an interesting and significant area for conducting research. The study mode on the
topic of job satisfaction will reveal the factor of feelings of employees. This report
is useful to the management of the company to know the satisfaction levels of
employees and they can take measures to increase productivity.

Research methodology :
Primary data :
The primary data was collected from the respondents by administering a structured
questionnaire and also through observation, interview and discussion with
management.
Secondary data :
Apart from primary data collected, the data collected through text books, the
records of HIMALAYA DRUG COMPANCY, journals from library, and internet is used
for the study.
Chapter scheme :
Chapter 1 : Introduction – HIMALAYA DRUG COMPANY.
Chapter 2 : Research design – will include information related to various research
papers and how data will be collected.
Chapter 3 : Company profile – HIMALAYA DRUG COMPANY and it’s organization
design.
Chapter 4 : SWOC analysis – Thus, the results derived from the analysis will be
validate.
Chapter 5 : Conclusion – will include the conclusions which will be based on the
result obtained from the above process of analysis.

Conclusion :
From the study it is found that majority of employees are not satisfied with their
salaries. The satisfaction of the employees can be increased by giving them more
wages, by increasing basic amenities canteen, hygienic toilet etc. by implementing
all these the company can increase satisfaction level of present employees and
can attract more workers to the company as mouth to mouth publicity.
