Young people go to lonely places. This
is a great risk. In lonely places someone
may be tempted to have sex. If she
refuses they may rape her. The way girls
dress can also attract men to want to
have sex with them. If you are half
naked you can get raped and get HIV.

Poverty
Lack of funds leads to prostitution.
The country has few jobs for people.
So prostitution is seen as the only job
they can run to. This can lead to HIV.
The government should provide jobs
so that young people do not become
prostitutes. Parents should talk to their
children about HIV and AIDS. They
should also be role models or else their
