Table 2 reveals that full form of HIV was correctly answered by 50.0% , full form of AIDS was correctly
answered by 36.0 % , similarly majority of respondent i.e. 96.0 % correctly answered the causative agent ,
similarly 94.0% know that HIV/AIDS is transmitted through unsafe sexual contact , similarly 36.0% know
correctly about its symptoms , similarly 90.0% know about diagnosis of HIV/AIDS . In relation to prevention of
HIV/AIDS 92.0% of respondent answered it correctly .

infection, 34.0% know that women can get HIV if she has sex during period , 58.0% know that HIV is a foreign disease ,
88.0% know that one can get HIV because of unprotected sex , 64.0% know that mosquito bites cannot cause HIV
infection, 76.0% know that HIV cannot be transmitted by kissing and hugging , 92.0% know that Pregnant women can
