MA102 – Mathematics II
Multivariable Calculus –

You can buy this book here: https://amzn.to/2Y3nXdt (You can find everything you need from this
book, almost nothing that is taught in class will ever be out of this)
Try to read the books properly if you want to score good in the subject. I would suggest try to go
through the solved examples of the topics which are taught in class because often the questions in
the tutorials are from the solved example section.
Try to maintain solutions for the tutorials you solve. They help a lot at the time of revision. Most of
the solutions to the tutorials you will get just by googling them, for some you will need to refer the
solved examples of the referenced books.
For ODE you will have many types of ODE’s so keep a note which question is solved using which
type and how you will figure out which type to use.
I didn’t refer to any particular youtube channel for the mathematics but watched some random
videos on topics which I found difficult.
CS103 – Data Structures
This is the most comprehensive book on data structures, it has explained every structure in a simple
manner:
https://b-ok.cc/dl/2855973/0eae53
Take it from a 10-pointer in data structures course, this is the best book and the book you truly need
to have in Data Structures: https://amzn.to/2OywnGG
Lecture 1-30 in the following playlist will cover almost everything you need to learn in the syllabus.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBF3763AF2E1C572F
For this course I would suggest you to do all your assignments yourself because understanding of
data structures is very important for your cs degree. It is one of the most important courses you
need to excel at for decent placements. So, take the course seriously.
If you struggle with your coding skills make sure you practice Data Structures problems in Hacker
rank so that you understand how each data structure is implemented.
https://www.hackerrank.com/domains/data-structures
And the best part is, you can always find solutions to all these problems in the discussion section
each problem statement. Ps. You can use any website to practice.
Follow particular playlist to understand the basic computer architecture & ARM:

Though you will be provided slides by the instructor. I personally referenced to these slides in
additional to the slides which were provided.

You can buy this book over here: https://amzn.to/2OA4cqL , this will truly help you understand all
the concepts that will be taught to you in the course. I also bought one because pdf version of this
exact edition is not available. The book mostly gets out of stock so keep a note.
If you get DSB as your instructor make sure you attend all the classes and pay proper attention ,
make short notes if possible. Take this form a 10 pointer in this course if you will pay attention to
what is being taught in class you can easily score a decent grade.
Try reading the op-amp from the book also. If you once understand the basic working of the opamp
it will be easy for you to understand further topics.
ALL ABOUT ELECTRONICS have most of the topics covered either under the above playlist or
separate videos are there just Youtube search the name .

If Shounak Roy teaches you, be ready for some bouncers . I would suggest you to not to worry
about this subject much but get the basic understanding of it and utilise your time and energy in
other subjects. If you really want to score good in this subject make sure you attend the classes. I
suggest you that because I wasn’t able to find explanations of many subtopics which sir taught in
class.
HS102 – Economics
Attend all the classes and make sure you take down the notes properly that will suffice. Most of the
questions are asked from the notes. Try to take interest in the subject and be interactive in class.
You must revise the previous question papers before exam, about 40-60% is repeated.
HS – Political Science
Follow all the classes, sir will mostly tell you about the questions that might come in the exam.
