[Interview bakerhughes]

1. Contoh permasalahan lu baru2 ini di kampus / tempat kerja yang membutuhkan 'expertise' lu gitulah.
Apa masalahnya? Apa tantangannya? Apa hambatannya? Gimana outcome yang lu dapat?

So I was a process engineer in a consultant company. I was given my first task in my second day joining, I
was given responsibility to HE blockage problem in the field (clients plant). Actually for me the challenge
is that I have to do this without direct supervision from my supervisor. So i took a day to analyze and
ensure the source of the problem. At first I wasn’t confident about my choice, but after a few time of
analyzing and discussion, I know that this is the best solution. So I gave a presentation about the
problems and the main source of the problems and lead the cleaning process. For me the key is that I
have to believe in my own knowledge and apply it.

2. Saat lu jadi project leader, apa aja tantangannya, hambatannya, outcome-nya juga

I was a project leader in recruitment process of KMPA Ganesha ITB, FYI this is an extreme sports and
educational organization. In the last part of the event, we made an expedition and simulation to apply
the knowledge that was given for the recruits. But, I faced a problem that there wasn’t enough
committee to do this expedition. I was confused, the organization need many members at that time. But
I was able to convince the other that safety aspects is the most important thing. So we combine some
solutions to lower the expedition difficulty for the safety, we raise the standards for the recruits so we
can cut off the number and get the best candidate, and we try to ask help from other organization to be
part of this committee. For me it was the best solution because we could maintain the safety aspects
and finish the process without accident.

3. Ketika lu nge-volunteer diri lu utk mimpin suatu grup, kapan? Apa masalahnya? Apa hambatannya?
Mirip2 kyk atas deh pertanyaan ininya

I volunteered to be leader of yearly ceremonial of KMPA birthdate, it was in 2017. The objective of the
event is to create a happy memories for all current and former member of KMPA. The most difficult
things to do is how to approach my team member and give them the right responsibility. At that time, I
was in my second year, most of my team member is at my year and one year below, its hard for the first
year to be confident in their responsibility. Because my team is a new member, so I can’t expect much
from their experience, so I gave the responsibility based on their personality. The most important thing
in this that I have to help them in their responsibility and follow up on them. And that lead to the
success of the event.

4. Gua rada lupa yg 4, tp kykny problem saat lu pendekatan awal lu salah thdp suatu project, apa yang lu
lakuin, dst...

I will always ask what is the main objective of the projects? What is the problem we have to face?
Through this we will brainstorm and collect solutions. The next step is to evaluate and compare the
solutions. In the actual process, people often skip those parts and just do easiest and general way to
approach the problem and objective. Even that is to be expected, I would still sometimes do the

Yes, I would have to compare the opinion, If we expect this opinion to give solution to a problem. The
easiest way is that ask the third person about it. Actually for me, as long as it is good thing, and good
solution opinion its okay.

6. Duh ini tuhh klgasalah masalah2 lu dalam project2 apa aja biasanya? (Sumpah agak mirip2 sbnrny
pertanyaannya daritd wkwk)

Communication problem with others and colliding tasks. Creating a new idea is hard.

7.Finally, tell me anything else you think is relevant to your application wkwk sempat gua catet sih kalo
yg ini

I have engineering and like to do field works so I expect to be comfortable in this position in the
company.
