My Personal 911

One way to develop effective coping mechanism when confronted with adversity is to be prepared. It is easier to be
resilient if you know a solution is readily available! Using various resources such as your teacher, guidance office,
networking with fellow classmates, and online resources, fill in this emergency directory. Even if you don’t think you will
ever require a particular service or organization, find the necessary information anyway. You never know what you may
need to weather any of the adversities that may come your way!

Some directory listings have been filled in for you, or suggestions given of general websites to begin your search for a
local chapter or organization. Always try to find the location nearest to you. And remember to update your directory if
you plan on attending a post-secondary program away from your home community so you are always prepared
wherever you go!
