1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to describe the general configuration steps required to manually set up the
configuration within the system landscape that has already been installed using the corresponding installation
or configuration guides for installation.
If you want to install SAP S/4HANA locally (on-premise) and if you do not want to configure manually and
prefer an automated installation process, use BC Sets delivered.

2 Preparation
2.1 Supported Deployments
The configuration guide provides the implementation content for SAP S/4HANA – (OP) installed locally (on-
premise), full scope and content coverage.
Depending on the use case/deployment option/ S/4HANA product version, you need to implement the
required scope/content starting with the Public cloud chapter and proceed with the next required sections.
● For the full scope of the on premise scope & content – PC and OP are required

3 Configuration
3.1 Assign User Parameter
 Note
The following steps are not part of the delivered BC Sets and therefore needs be defined manually.
1. Call transaction SU01 in your backend system.

2. Enter the User ID of the user you assigned the role SAP_BR_TRANSPORTATION_PLANNER.
3. Switch to change mode.
4. Navigate to Parameters tab and add the following entry:

5. Save your changes.
3.2 Defining Settings for Geographical Map
 Note
This only works if you have your own map provider. SAP does not provide map in standard. Please check
SAP note 1685381 for details.
Following settings needs to be done manually.
1. Access the transaction using one of the following navigation path:
