Here in this session we know about the value network of the organization i.e. how to earn the
goodwill from the suppliers. From this session we come to know that a organization need to set
objectives at different levels, of various type and for different period of time.
There are four factors that should be consider for objective setting, they are,
The forces of environment
Realities of Enterprise resource and Internal Power Relationship
The value system of top executive
Awareness by the management

In this session balance score card is discussed and its four perspectives. These perspectives are
financial, customers, internal business & leaning and growth. When these four perspectives are
balance then the outcome are also balance as this helps in the prioritization of key strategic
objective.
Critical success factor and key performance indicator are also discussed and they are interrelated
as without CSF, key performance indicator cannot be achieved.

Here in this session strategy formulation part were discussed i.e. the environmental aspect as
how it affects in the making of organization’s strategy. Environmental factors are of two types
viz Internal and the External Environment. Strength and weakness falls under Internal
Environment whereas opportunity and threats falls under External environment. Here we also
come to know external environment are dynamic and multi-face i.e. the environment is
constantly changing and it depends upon the perception of the observer.

In this session external environment were discussed i.e. the opportunity and threats of a
organization. Here we also discussed about the SWOT analysis i.e. How we can maximize our
strengths, how to minimize weakness, how to capitalize on the opportunity provided by the
eternal environment and to protect the organization from threats. The Business Environment is
broadly classified into – General & Relevant Environment.
