● 2 Special Sites
● 1 Health Fair
Shireen Wissa ✨
"I'm truly honored and humbled that I have been chosen as the
volunteer of Fall 2019! Interacting with patients during health sites and
health fairs has enhanced my desire to help out wherever I can, as
there is a long way to go in closing the wide gap between healthcare
affordability and accessibility and the people who need it the most.
Thank you to all the staff who plan out the volunteering events to bring
the healthcare needed to the patients. Through these events, VCH has
given me some of the most memorable experiences I have had at
UCLA that will stay with me forever! Everyone in VCH is so supportive
and kind to each other and to patients alike, which makes me proud to
be a part of this incredible team of volunteers. Thank you for giving me
the opportunity to serve the community alongside you!"
