ADJUSTING LINE SPACINGS

Line Spacing refers to the amount of space between lines of text.

By default, Word applies single space text. Single spacing does not
leave extra space between each line.

To make text more readable, you can add space between lines of

text. Double-spaced text has full blank line between each line of

text. You can change spacing by choosing paragraph from the

Format menu to add any amount of space you want, or you can

change to a common line space by using the keyboard shortcut keys.

Another ways to increase the readability of a page is to add spaces

between paragraphs. Word lets you add space before or after

paragraphs, you can decide how much space in place.
