Simple Energy Protection

You may feel that you are becoming more sensitive and you may
also become more energetically “attractive” to energies that don’t
belong to you, or there may be energies, people or places that you
find decidedly difficult to be around or in. This can be an everyday
occurrence for some people and is important to take some
preventative action about this.

So, it is important that you make sure you are fully grounded on a
daily basis. In addition to grounding (see separate download), it is
also advisable to use some form of “energy” protection. One
example of a protection technique is this:

 Imagine yourself in a “bubble” of golden or white or other


coloured light that surrounds your aura (you don’t have to
see your aura for this to be effective, you just need some
sense or understanding of it – feel, sense, know and/or
trust all work as the INTENTION is the important thing.

 Breathe into your bubble and intend that it is completely


filled with white light (or positive energy/similar).

 Ensure that the boundary of your bubble is strong and


secure. Breathe into any areas that do not appear to be so
and intend to strengthen them with white light.

 With the out breathe intend to release anything from inside


the bubble which is negative or inappropriate for you.

 Instead of a bubble, some people use a golden dome and


then fill that with white light. (The gold reflects any
negative/ imbalanced energy back to the Universe or the
Earth to recycle – I don’t recommend reflecting it back to
the sender!)
Others use eggs, pyramids or other shapes; some put
mirrors on the outside of their bubble or pyramid to reflect
any unwanted energies to the Universe or to the Earth. It is
all down to personal choice. With a technique such as this,
you are only limited by your imagination.

 The important thing here is to make your intention clear, to


have confidence in yourself and in the technique and to
develop a sense of knowing and trust that you are
protected. Avoid focussing on what it is protecting you from
as then your focus is on the negative rather than the
positive.
 When you are doing this technique on a daily basis, it is
easy to allow it to become a ritualised behaviour that you
are doing without feeling, so try not to allow this to become
a chore for you. It’s important for your energetic well-being,
so keep that in mind and you could even try and make it
fun.

 Grounding and protection might start off being a five or ten


minutes exercise and after a while you can get it down to a
minute or less, so it can be done quickly, efficiently and
with a positive intent in the morning before you leave the
house, flat or room. Again, a strong positive, vibrant
intention is the most important aspect.
