National Pharmaceutical Pricing authority (NPPA), who by its authority have included coronary stents under
list of essential medicines (prices would be regulated by DPCO) and has earmarked below mentioned upper
ceiling for selling of coronary stents. This ceiling intends to curb unethical markups added by hospitals /
Doctors to inflate stent prices for end users.

The ceiling prices specified in column (4) of the above table shall be applicable from the date of publication
of the notification in the Gazette of India Extraordinary in this regard i.e. from 13th February, 2017 and shall
also be applicable to all the stocks of Coronary Stents available for sale in the trade channel. The ceiling

till 13th February, 2018, unless revised by another gazette notification. If you are an end user, please ensure
that you are not paying more than the Ceiling Price to Hospitals for Coronary Stents. Request our
intermediaries to note the regulation and also create awareness among customers for the ceiling prices of
Coronary Stents.

In terms of this regulation, we would limit the reimbursement of customer’s requests for reimbursement of
Coronary Stents in terms of the policy to the limits specified under the notification.
