Pre-Lesson • Teacher plays a video about how Foley artist makes sound in the Formative Assessment:

Lesson • Display two set of realia on the table – Set A: seashell, eggshell, Formative Assessment:
Development hollow coconut, and teacup; and Set B: cookie jar, biscuit, bowls, Exemplars

• Teacher introduces the poem
• Teacher demonstrates the sounds based on the phrases in the 21st Century Learning skills:

• Divide pupils into groups. Each group will be given objects in Set
A ask them to experience the sound made by those objects to
match the description.

Modify the poem 21st Century Learning skills:


• Each group will be given an object from Set B. Get them to put Creativity

sounds they think they can hear with the description.
• In groups, pupils rewrite any stanza of the poem, with the new

Modifying the poem


Instructions to the teachers:

• Each group will be given an object from Set B. Get


them to put the object to their ears and listen
closely.
• Ask them to match the sounds they think they can
hear with the description.
• In groups, pupils rewrite any one stanza of the
poem, with the new sound that they hear
