LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. define sound occasionally;
b. demonstrate how sound is produced; and
c. construct a sounding box that identify factors that affect the pitch and
loudness of sound.

B. Materials: Visual aids, musical instruments, chalk and board
C. Reference: Science Learner’s Material

III. Procedure
A. Motivation
The teacher will let the students to play some instruments and ask the question
“What have you produced as you played the different instruments?”

B. Lesson Proper
Based from that, what do you think is our lesson for today?
How do you define sound?

C. Activity Proper
The teacher will group the class into four and each group will perform an Activity
entitled My Own Sounding Box.
(The teacher will distribute worksheets.)

D. Generalization
The students will complete the concept map.
