As a young kid I was told that there were number of topics I shouldn’t discuss about at dinner tables:

politics, religion, money. Today we might include death as well. Like politics or religion, the content
can cause conflict or controversy. Like Money can cause embarrassment and death may raise fear
and anxieties which people feel have no place in polite conversation. But Even after world I and
world war II mass loss of lives which created chaos in yester world has no impact in today’s world.
Today I lack ability in resisting myself to put in words that recent activities around the globe has an
analogy to the bygone century.

At least 108 million people were killed in wars in the twentieth century. It has different adverse
effect on population which include decrease in birth rate to death of animals. The same can be said
in the 21 st century as approximately more than 30 wars are going on since the beginning of 2003.
Some of the included conflicts are in Afghanistan, Algeria, the Congo, India, Indonesia, Israel, Iraq,
Liberia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, and Uganda.Burundi, China,
Colombia. In 2019 the terrorist attack such as Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir and retaliation
by India killed many soldiers and terrorists, Suicide car bombing and shooting in Maidan Shar,
Afghanistan which killed many defence ministry officials , Shooting, attacks, massacres in lturi
province, Democratic Republic of the Congo which killed over 240 people due to ethnic clashes
between Lendu and Hema tribes. The list does not stop only in killing of human races but includes
the death of animals as well. The recent Australia bushfire is the decade humongous tragedy where
approximately 500 million animals were killed with some rare species are on the verge of extinction.

Knowing this facts, a sane human being should present itself a question -where are a you leading our
beautiful earth to?

Once Albert Einstein quoted- “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World
War IV will be fought with sticks and stones”

If we continue to be on this path the Albert Einstein quote is bound to come true. Therefore, we the
greatest creation of this universe should act responsibly. We should not fight among each other and
kill each other rather we should work together to reduce poverty, environmental pollution and
inequalities. We should also work for peace, justice, sustainable cities, communities, industry
innovation, infrastructure and strong institutions. The mankind efforts and focus on these domain
will make the world a better place to live in.
