I. Course Description:
This course is intended to give the students a broad knowledge of legal provisions governing business associations – limited liability company, partnership, corporations, and
cooperatives. The Securities Regulation Code is also taken up in this course.

II. Course Outcomes:


Upon satisfactorily finishing this course, the student will be able to:
1. Discuss the law and basic principles appertaining to different forms of business organizations.
2. Apply the specific provisions of the law on business organizations to various situation business transactions.
3. Justify decisions on various situation affecting business organization
4. Evaluate the different rights and remedies available to protect ownership in any business organization.
5. Relate the Benedictine core values to the proper implementation of the law on business organization.

VI. Grading System and Grading Procedure


The University requires professors to evaluate each student’s scholastic performance by giving a midterm grade and a final grade to be computed as follows:

Attendance Policy
1. Students are considered absent if they arrive in class after the first fifteen (15) minutes of the scheduled class period. They may attend the class but will
be marked absent.
2. Students are considered tardy if they arrive in the class within the first fifteen (15) minutes of the scheduled class period. They are marked late or
half-absent on the professor’s daily attendance record. Two (2) instances of tardiness or half-absences are equivalent to a full absence.
3. Student is allowed the following maximum number of hours of absences during the regular term:
