Objective Task Evaluation Parameters

Students learn to create a machine
learning model for predictions,
classifications or for pattern
recognitions.
Students will use any data set of
their choice and develop
machine learning models using
either supervised learning or
unsupervised learning models or
both. Students will then select
the best model and present their
rationale for selecting the said
model.
Students will be evaluated on the
following parameters:
1) Accuracy - 10 Marks
2) Practical utility of the model -10
Marks
3) Report - 10 Marks

Students will create a minimum

of 3 and maximum of 5 models.
Students will submit a report
which explains:
1. The data set
2. How was the data split
into training and
testing/validating model
with logic
3. The various ML models
created with logic
4. The significance of
each technique used
5. The rationale behind
selecting the best
model
6. The practical utility
of the model

1. The data sets could be sourced from the following sources:

2. The student has to submit the link from where the data is sourced.
3. Plagiarism cases would be dealt with very seriously. This could lead to UMC.
4. The faculty can conduct a Viva in case of any suspicion in the submitted report.
